The wolf
Our story is set in a distant, frozen land where Loni, a curious young boy, lives.
He has been waiting a long time to visit his favourite playmate, and even though it is raining and snowing outside, nothing will stop him. His mum warns him not to stray from the beaten path and not to venture into the woods, but Loni runs: he has just spotted a strange blue animal and soon gets lost in the woods, far from home.
A heart-warming story, woven from light and shadow, brought to life through the black and white of the paintings used in the striking set design. As the story unfolds, the bed sheets light up and, as if by magic, the drawings come to life.
The wolf, a figure that strikes fear not only into children’s hearts, has the chance to redeem his role, long regarded as a danger. In this story, he becomes Loni’s guardian, protector and guardian angel, saving his life through a journey of discovery in the forest.
