Lake Andalo is a natural wonder. Located at the foot of Piz Galin in the Brenta Dolomites, it has a special characteristic: it is a karst lake, one of eight in the world with this characteristic, unique in Trentino.

Do you know what that means? It appears and disappears depending on the seasons! It fills in spring and autumn and dries up in summer—a true mystery of nature.

To enhance this jewel without ruining its balance, SOVA has launched a project at the request of the Municipality of Andalo.

What will happen?

Pathways with walkways and viewing platforms will be created. The goal is to allow everyone to explore and enjoy the lake's incredible biodiversity, its birdlife, and its flora up close, without harming its delicate ecosystem.

Work will begin at the end of August, and the new path will be ready by summer 2026. One more reason to visit the natural wonders of Trentino!
